For My Best

Lord, I know You're testing me
I know it's for my best
I want to learn from this trial
There's a lesson in this test.

I can't say my steps won't falter
Or my weakness won't show through
But no matter where this struggle leads
Let my trust remain in You.

Giving up would be so easy
My strength is nearly gone
But my faith won't have a chance to grow
If I don't continue on.

I'm tired Lord - I'm want to quit
But I need to see it through
Don't let me miss the lesson
Or take my eyes off You.

Remind me that it's for my good
So one day I will see
When You reveal Your perfect plan
It's what was best for me.
